Where does time go?

As you can see by the date of my last blog it has been awhile. I guess that's what happens when life gets in the way. Alot has happened and by far the best news is that we have a new grandbaby on the way in August. We are soooo excited.

Also, as of yesterday, I now have my own website to showcase my photos. It is in the early stage of development and I am enjoying the process very much. I have named it... "Always Two People" taken from the quote by Ansel Adams. So please check it out. For now I will still be selling my photos also on my Etsy shop but to find the majority of my work it will on my website.

Talk to you soon!

Beautiful day on the Pamlico

Today has been another beautiful day on the river and tonight has been amazing. It is so neat to be able to watch fireworks all around the river. You can see them for miles and miles away. Me and my honey have been watching them for hours out on the front deck. But now they are over and all is quiet. All you can hear are the waves coming ashore and the wind blowing through the trees.
Oh this nice weather has been such a pleasant gift. I just read the weather and this coming week it is suppose to 100 plus inland where our family is. Oh how I hate hot days...but it is July 4th and as fast as the year is going it will be autumn soon.
Can't wait to start on my next project in the craft room...got so many ideas in my head I just don't know which one I want to start with. Oh well...time will tell...
Good night and Happy 4th to All.

Happy 4th of July!

It is a beautiful day here on the Pamlico River. It has been so very hot here but today and yesterday it has been alot cooler. The mid 70's is so much better than the high 90's. I have been busy working on our grandson's quilt. I just finished it yesterday and then today I cut the millions of threads off the front and back. I can't wait to give it to him for his 2nd birthday.
So I hope it is not as long for my next blog. Anyway...Happy 4th of July!

Dementia care at home

It's been several months since my last blog. So sorry about that. Lots been going on but now it's time to settle in since the cold weather is here. We have been working on our new websites and you really need to check them out.

The dementia site is going well and we are getting more and more visitors each day. It's a very much needed site in todays world. More and more people are helping with their love ones with this disease. We even have places on the site for your input and feedback. And also a place where you can tell us your story if your loved one has passed on. Sometimes it helps just to share and that is our goal...to help in any way we can.

If you haven't been to the site yet...check it out. It is FULL of good free information. The link is www.dementia-care-at-home.com

Well judge for yourself. We now have two more Etsy sites up and running. You MUST check them out. They are:

http://www.pamlicotreasures.etsy.com/ on this website you will find all sorts of treasures and artwork from our studio here on coastal North Carolina. I have already listed some of my original ACEOs and prints of my acrylic and watercolor artwork. There will be lots more to come on this website. So keep your eyes open.

http://www.puzzleseeker.etsy.com/ on this website you will find downloadable word search puzzles. We have easy and we have difficult puzzles. Are you looking for an unusual puzzle grid. Well you have to look no more. We have amazing grids in color and black and white. In the near future we will also be offering our on brand of homemade wooden puzzles. Handcrafted and heirloom quality.

Also one more website that is a little more on the serious side and it is http://www.dementia-care-at-home.com/ This site is so full of information that you must check it out. If you or anyone you know is dealing with dementia or alzheimer's this is a must see site.

So yes we have been busy and we plan on staying that way bringing you things from our hearts to yours.

Blessings,

Summer is Here!

OK folks I know it has been awhile since my last blog. But for us, summer time is family time. Plus all the tons of fun outside time. Living on the water is so exciting. And being indoors is not easy on such beautiful days.

So be patient...I will blog more as the weather cools and the indoor time increases.
