Come and Gone... But the Blessings Remain!

Well Christmas has come and gone for another year. It is always so hard to believe that it is over. Does it make me sad? Well kinda! But not as much now as in the past. I am the type of person that LOVES Christmas and snow. But the Christmas that I love so few people really care about. It's not about gifts for me... never has been. Well maybe when I was a little girl but for now it is just about being with family.

My dad died many years ago right before Christmas and I still miss him so much!!! I can't wait until we are reunited in heaven and I get to see him again. I do so love this man... my earthly father!!! But for now, on this earth, there is life! Life that God told us to live to the fullest and to count our blessings everyday!

And in counting those blessings... we were blessed with another grandchild this year and he is amazing. He and his older brother bring such love into my soul! I see their daddy, my own son, in them and I am filled with so much love that I could split open! Along with our daughter-in-law and my two wonderful daughters my life is so very blessed!

Another blessing is my wonderful husband! My second husband. He is the love of my life. Words can not express what I feel for this man. All I know is that when God sent him into my life it was a turning point. If I could write a book about my life all would know that this man saved my life. I know I have lived through the bad things in my life with God's help and His help alone. But my husband taught me how to trust again, how to love again! And everyday I am so thankful to God for him and for his love for me.

Now all we need is snow to make things complete this holiday season. I guess the white fog that now covers the river will have to do on this beautiful morning.

Blessings... yes I count them! Everyday. You should give it a try! God loves to hear that we appreciate what He does for us and that we love Him so.

Have a wonderful day to all!
Love, Bee

Sloopy the Singing Crab

I just created this card for our daughter. Hope she likes it!!!

This crab was caught on our fishing line and also caught by camera. I will be listing it on my Etsy shop when the holidays role back around.

Christmas Eve and Home

Well it's Christmas eve and we are home for the holidays. What a wonderful feeling. As I sit and type this the sun is just going down over the Pamlico and the sky is so beautiful with so many colors. Different shades of blue, grey, pink, orange and white are reflecting on the water making it almost a purple color. What a site! Thank you Lord for this day and for being home with my honey! We wish you and yours a very Merry Christmas!

Tis The Season!

It's almost Christmas and I would like to wish everyone that comes across my blog a very happy holiday season. May the joy that everyone has over the birth of our Lord and Savior be with you everyday of the year. But just remember that baby Jesus did not just come to stay in that manger. He came to save our souls from eternal death. His death on the cross was so that we could have life with Him. May we serve him with a joyful heart and always remain faithful to Him now and always!

I would like to thank everyone that checked out my etsy shop. http://www.pamlicobee.etsy.com/ and for all those that made purchases. This coming year you can expect alot more in my shop, the good Lord willing and the river don't rise.

Merry Christmas from our hearts to your home!

Adding a Greeting Card line to my Etsy shop.

Today I am very excited about adding something new to my Etsy store. I will be featuring my original photographs as greeting cards, invitations and promotional cards. My photos will be printed directly onto top quality Crane Museo Artist cards making the photo seamlessly integrated with the card.

The Museo Artist Cards that I use are manufactured to archival standards to reproduce high quality and beauty that will last for years. They are make of 100% cotton, acid-free and are pre-scored for easy folding. Our printing is done on our Epson Stylus Pro 3800 printer, one of the finest printers on the market.

While some folks print on card stock and other folks use the old cut and paste method I prefer the much more professional and enduring quality of direct printing on world-class, fine art paper.

Each folded card measures 5 1/2" x 7 1/2" closed and comes with its own envelope.

I will be showing some here on the blog soon! But for now check out my store at http://www.pamlicobee.etsy.com/ . Thanks and have a wonderful day.
