Spring Is Here!

What a beautiful day it is suppose to be today. I believe Spring is finally here for us. The birds are singing and the sun is shining. So on this glorious Sabbath I hope you get out in the fresh air and enjoy the day! Today is a great day to shake off those winter blues! Hope you enjoy the photo I have uploaded for you of me holding a buttercup with a bee on it.

The snow is gone and now it's back to work.

Ever wish the snow days could go on forever? I know there are alot of folks out there who really hate snow but we love it and we love the time off from work. But today is back to work and the snow is but just a beautiful memory.

So in honor of working and being thankful we have jobs I have listed this latest photo on my Etsy site. We cross this bridge so many times during the month and I never really knew the history until I did my research for this listing.

Snow in March is such a wonderful treat!!! We got 4 to 6 inches last night!

Today it is raining here and they are calling for snow tomorrow! YEAH!!!!! We LOVE snow!!!

Happy Sabbath

On this beautiful Sabbath I ask for your prayers. A member of our family is sick and I would like for you to pray with me that they get better very soon. God knows all the details.

I am adding this photo in their honor. It is an S shaped letter that stands for Spring. On it is 100 of my flower photos that I have taken.

But I guess I will have to wait a little longer. Last night we had thunder, lightning, high winds and even a little hail mixed in.

3. She looks his way with that special look…
4. She calls out…letting him know she has a special request…
5. He dives head first into the deep blue of the Pamlico river…
6. Look…here he comes! Incoming in view… And this is her still sitting on her pole…Waiting…
7. He's getting closer, and look he has something special for her in his beak… He has brought her lunch…a big fat fish!
8. He gives it to her so graciously… even in mid flight!
9. And here she is sitting on her pole, with fish in mouth… as he flies down and away. The End.

I am so glad I had the camera the day this beautiful love story unfolded. Me and my dear husband were sitting on our pier and could not believe our eyes. Our gulls love story actually happened as you see and is not computer manipulated.

Well we had snow this past Tuesday. It snowed all day and we were here to enjoy it. Thank you God!

Ok now that it is getting really cold the rain has moved out. We want SNOW!!! It is suppose to be way below freezing tonight and tomorrow night but that is only cold. TGIS... Thank God It's Sabbath

The BEST day of the week! From sundown on Friday to sundown on Saturday is the Sabbath that the Lord God created for us. He so knew what He was doing.

We get so caught up in working and doing that it's hard to find time to rest. Well that is what the Sabbath is all about. A day to spend with God and family. A day to let the cares of the world stay away from mind and body.

I am so thankful that God created the Sabbath and I am so glad that it is in my heart to keep it.

Give it a try! I promise you that you will look at life differently!!
